New York State recognizes releases of liability for equine activities under the Equine Activity Liability Act. Participation in horseback riding and related activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, contact with horses, and unpredictable animal behavior.

By completing and signing the required waivers, parents/guardians, as well as spouses/significant others for adult campers, acknowledge these risks and agree to release Triple Crown Horsemanship Camp and its staff from liability, except in cases of gross negligence as defined by New York State law.
