CAMP DIRECTOR, CERTIFIED INSTRUCTOR, AND OWNER

Deborah White is a CHA Certified Riding Instructor. Debby’s combined horse experience can be seen for over 60 years and she is well known and respected as a riding instructor, fellow horse person and a 20 year 4-H leader. Debby lives on the camp grounds with her husband Martin. Debby can be seen in the show ring with her American Quarter Horse, Sonny Catchem Two, Sonny. All riding instruction is overseen by Debby as Head Senior Counselor, with assistance from the other counselors. Debby has participated in clinics with Richard Shrake, Stuart Ryback, and Kenny Harlow and observed several clinics at numerous Equine Affaire Events.

Martin White

Husband and too Many Other Titles to List!

During the off-camp season, which is most of the year, Martin is very visible and is in the horse barn everyday completing horse chores, fixing fence, getting hay, taking care of horses, and much more. He also owns a second business and during the summer is not as visible during our camp program, but still can be seen starting our camp fires and sitting around the camp fire. We truly couldn’t have camp without Martin’s help.  The camp is built on Martin’s family farm where he grew up!
