Triple Crown Horsemanship Camp is located in Cape Vincent, New York. Cape Vincent is known at the point where Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence River meet. It is also home of the black bass, the Tibbet's Point Lighthouse, and the Annual French Festival event. We are a very small, safe community with a primary rural population.
The camp is located just outside of a little hamlet known as Rosiere. This has been Debby and Martin's home for 36 years. Julie was only a baby when they moved into this home and they have continued to raise Julie and their three sons, Andy, Derek, and Jason in this home. They also have nine grandchildren that reside with their respective parents. The family used to run a large dairy farm and the horse farm is located on the opposite side of the road from the dairy buildings. Using Mapquest to find our camp is very accurate.
We are located 30 minutes from the City of Watertown, about 1.5 hours from Syracuse, 3 hours from Rochester, and about 5 hours from Buffalo. We have several campers that visit us from Massachussetts as well as the drive is approximately 5-6 hours.
LOCAL CHAMBER OF COMMERCES AND THINGS TO DO
Several times families will ask for recommendations for places to stay, sites to see, and things to do while their child is at work or during a weekend stay over. Many campers choose to attend two weeks and spend the weekends with their families enjoying the Thousand Islands Area. We are providing some links to area Chamber of Commerce sites with hopes in helping you plan a vacation in the area. Enjoy!
